Four Biology Faculty Members Promoted
The University of Maryland's College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences announced the promotions of 12 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, seven instructional faculty members and 16 research faculty members. Four faculty members were also named Distinguished University Professor—the highest academic honor bestowed by the university.
We congratulate Quentin Gaudry, who was promoted to associate professor with tenure; Beth Parent, who was promoted to principal lecturer; and Bill Fagan, who was named Distinguished University Professor.
