Congratulations to Dr. Karen Lips, who is co-author of a paper published in the journal Environmental Research Letters that links a malaria spike to amphibian die-off in Costa Rica and Panama.

The published study makes use of Karen's long-term observations of amphibians and disease in their populations in Costa Rica and Panama that began when was a graduate student in the early 1990s.
