Congratulations to Danielle Rappaport (Ph.D '20, geographical sciences), Anshuman Swain (Ph.D. '22, biological sciences), Bill Fagan, Ralph Dubayah and Douglas Morton for the recent publication of their paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.  

The research team made significant discoveries about biodiversity and degradation in the Amazon using animal soundscapes.  The team's findings provide additional insight into biodiversity and how factors like climate change and human activity impact it.
