Graduate Program Affiliations:
BISI-Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics
BISI-Behavior, Ecology, Evolution & Systematics (BEES)
Research Interests
My research interests lie in mathematical problems with applications in Neuroscience, Oncology, Immunology, Evolutionary Biology. More specifically, I use the techniques of parameter estimation, dynamical systems, network theory, and numerical analysis to create models of biological phenomenon (e.g. cancer growth, sleep dynamics, cellular immune dynamics). My current research program facilitates truly interdisciplinary collaboration spanning a number of subject areas including mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, pharmacy, and oncology.
Currently, my research focuses in three major areas :
Recent Publications :

Education :
Postdoctoral Training, in Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic modeling, INRIA Grenoble - Rhone-Alpes,
Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, University of Maryland, College Park
B.S. in Mathematics, Spelman College
B.S. in Computer Science, Spelman College
